Week 7 RB handcuffs to stash

Every backup we told subscribers to grab before kickoff in Week 7 of 2026, in priority order: the back, the starter he sits behind, and the case for holding him.

28 stashes across 6 game windows (Thursday Night, Sunday Morning (International), Sunday Early, Sunday Late, Sunday Night, Monday Night). Each pick is the board as it stood at kickoff, not a later revision.

Stash priority compares backup opportunities; it is not a points projection or an injury probability. Check your league’s wire and lock rules before adding anyone. How the scores are built.

How to use this list

Take the highest back on the list who is free in your league, and hold him in a bench slot you can afford to rotate. If nothing happens by the time his game is final, swap him for the best available stash in the next window. The rotating bench slot, explained.

Check the injury report first

A stash is worth more when the starter ahead of him is banged up, and worth less when the backup himself is. This week’s running back injury report shows both.

Get this list before every kickoff.

Free, about 3.5 hours before each game window, with who is likely still on your wire.
