Look for a backup who could inherit meaningful work. Stash priority weighs replacement opportunity and the starter’s injury history; it does not predict an injury or this week’s fantasy points.

Check the timing
The shortlist removes players at scheduled kickoff. Confirm current player availability, free-agent status and your league’s transaction deadlines before acting.
Step 3
Decide whether to hold
After Monday’s games, evaluate the role and the starter’s status before the next waiver run. A speculative add is worth keeping when the opportunity improves; the final kickoff alone is not a reason to hold.

How does the shortlist handle a Monday doubleheader?
Each player leaves the shortlist at his own scheduled kickoff. A later game remains available after the first game starts, but you can only rotate a bench player if your league’s drop and waiver rules allow it.
Are these players free agents in my league?
This shortlist does not connect to your league. Roster percentages come from ESPN public leagues and show how often a back is already taken, not whether he is free in yours. Use “Hide player” for names already rostered, then check your league for waiver status and roster restrictions.
Why is a player missing?
His game may have started, his status may rule him out, or a recent board may not be available. The handcuff directory keeps published analysis after kickoff; team backfields show the wider roster.
