A Yahoo live file updated 11:57 p.m. UTC lists six Commanders inactives and no running back, so White, Ekeler and McNichols all dress. Fact: White practiced limited but carries no game designation and is the lead back. Projection: Ekeler is the next man up by depth, with McNichols now healthy and competing for the same complementary passing-down role, so the committee is unresolved. Ekeler is free almost everywhere; he only matters if White leaves the game and Washington leans on the veteran rather than splitting work with McNichols.

Croskey-Merritt went to injured reserve Monday with a groin injury and no reported recovery timetable; treat his return as unknown rather than short.
